This policy explains how RestroKit collects, uses, protects and shares your information when you use our website, iOS app, Android app, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
- Name, email and phone number
- Restaurant details (name, address, cuisine type)
- Google account details when signing in with Google
- Menu, images and review-related data
- From our mobile apps (when you allow it): camera and photo library access to upload menu images and save QR codes; map coordinates you choose for a restaurant; session information stored securely on your device; and technical details such as IP address and app version when you connect to our services
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and improve the service
- To authenticate accounts and maintain security
- To send order notifications, updates and support messages
- To comply with legal obligations
- On mobile, to open your system browser for Google sign-in and return you to the app through an app link after authentication
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with necessary service providers (for example hosting, backend and authentication services such as Supabase, and notifications). If you choose Google sign-in, Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to that sign-in flow. When you use map features in the app, map imagery may load from third-party tile servers, which may receive standard technical connection information. Data may also be disclosed when legally required.
When you use your device’s share feature from the app, content is sent to the app or service you select; we do not control those recipients.
